7-16-2021 Boil Water Advisory

East Brady Borough Water did not meet treatment technique requirements due to a faulty gas chlorine injector on Saturday, 7-10-2021. Additionally during this time the water systems SCADA computer failed to record the contiuous data from the online chlorine analzyer. We will be under a boil water advisory until East Brady Borough Water’s SCADA communication system is repaired.

Do not drink the water without boiling it first. Bring all water being used to a boil for one minute before using it. Boiling the water kills bacteria and other organisms. Boiled water or bottled water should be used for drinking, Cooking, washing dishes, or food preparation until further notice.

Inadequately treated or protected water may contain disease-causing organisms. these organisms can cause symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, cramps and associated headaches.

These symptoms are not caused by only organisms in the drinking water. if you experience any of these symptoms and they persist, you may want to seek medical advice.People at increased risk should seek advice from their health care providers about drinking this water.

We will inform you when the boil water advisory is lifted.
